LIVE & ONLINE
Art counselling sessions are facilitated by a qualified Transpersonal Art Counsellor.
During a session, you have the opportunity to explore your inner world and navigate personal challenges through the transformative potential of a creative process.
Sessions are conducted virtually, providing you with a safe and comfortable space to express yourself creatively from the comfort of your own home. Sessions are typically 1 to 1.5 hours and can be tailored to meet your individual needs and goals.
You have the flexibility to choose how you'd like to engage in the session. You can immerse yourself in therapeutic art-making guided by the Art Counsellor, or you can use the session to reflect on a therapeutic process you did between session and discuss ways to continue your growth and healing process.
Whether you're looking to process emotions, gain insight, or simply explore your creativity, Art Counselling Online offers a supportive and expressive catalyst for personal exploration and self-discovery.
Book your no obligation discovery call. Sessions are 30min via zoom.
Choosing your media
The process of choosing media is a deeply personal and empowering experience. It's a moment where clients have the autonomy to express themselves that feels safe and authentic to them. Some people gravitate towards familiar materials like paint and clay, finding solace and familiarity in their textures and colours. Others may be drawn to alternative media choices - pastel, wax, charcoal, collage or found objects, using them as vehicles for self-expression and exploration. The act of selecting media is not just about the physical materials themselves; it's about the emotions, memories, and narratives they evoke. It's about finding a means of communication that transcends words, allowing the person to delve into their inner world and provide a creative narrative to their experiences.
The Art Counsellor respects their client’s unique preferences, providing them with the tools, techniques and support they need to navigate their therapeutic journey with creativity and courage.

Art Counsellor Bio
Michelle Moore
Transpersonal Art Counsellor
For more than 20 years I’ve been deeply engaged in the realms of creative arts, therapy, and education. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a certified Transpersonal Arts Counsellor, since 2015, my journey has been dedicated to fostering healing and self-discovery through the creative arts to individuals and groups.
In 2016, I founded my private practice, Creative Counselling, for individuals seeking therapeutic art counselling. Through individual, group and community initiatives, I've facilitated transformative experiences, harnessing the power of creativity to promote mental well-being and inclusivity.
Founded community projects: Bridges Creative Cafe provided a haven for adults navigating mental health challenges, while the Dandelion Project blossomed into a vibrant hub for older adults and people with special needs seeking creativity and companionship. Creative Kids provided a weekly therapeutic art sessions and summer holiday art space.
For the past 8 years I’ve been a visiting college tutor, where I've led various modules on 'Brand development and 'Working with Older Adults', sharing my expertise in working with adult mental health.
My journey is one of dedication to the transformative and therapeutic potential of the creative process. I continue to connect with individuals and communities and encourage living a holistic creative life.
